Now that we have two dogs, I'm thinking I need tags to tell them apart. No, not really, but I like buying stuff for the puppies...and they need ID in case they ever escape the yard. As much as we spoil them, they'd be crazy to escape, but, just in case...

Comic Style Pet Tag Yellow by purepanache - Pure Panache has great colorful, weatherproof tags that come in two sizes. As soon as I get this entry finished, I'm off to buy this tag for Jackson and their Art Deco tag for Maggie.

Copper Pet Tags by jmanigrossi - This shop only sells these rustic stamped copper pet tags. You know what they say about doing one thing well...

Sacred Heart Tattoo Pet Tag by SwallowKisses - Swallow Kisses makes wonderful items featuring her tattoo-style artwork, and this tag would make your dog the coolest canine at puppy playtime.

Custom Large dog and cat tags - 1-1/16 inch by bynicola - by Nicola makes the most interesting handcut and handstamped items, including tags available in large and small sizes. Oh, and definitely check out these cute puppy dog earrings.

Large Brass Teardrop Paw Pet ID Tag by sleepingbear - A shiny pawprint in a teardrop, available in brass and sterling silver. This shop also offers coordinating items for doggie parents.

Etsy Favorites: Suds in the Bucket

Recently, I bought my first handmade soap, a great chocolate milk bar from Savor. I liked it so much, I bought more. Here are some soaps I'd like to try.

Joie de Vive Creme Fraiche by savor - I've loved every soap I've bought from this shop (I can't wait until she starts making the chocolate milk soap again), and the creme fraiche will be my next purchase.

Sweet Orange Shampoo Bar with Jojoba and Meadowfoam Seed Oils, Personal Bar by DressGreen - DressGreen is closed until mid-August, but I really hope she has this shampoo bar in stock when she's back.

Mini Coronita Bar by BeautifulSoaps - Corona is my husband's favorite beer, so I think I can convince him to give it a try...although I might just keep it for myself.

All Natural Dog Soap by kopah - We can't forget man's best friend on our soap-buying spree. The soap contains essential oils that may repel fleas, and it's shaped like a cute little bone.

Cosmic Clean Soap Dish  by CosmicCleanBody - While it isn't soap, this cool soap dish should keep all your wonderful handmade soaps from disintegrating into a big mess. This is my favorite (I love blue!), but they have them in several different colors.

I opened my Etsy shop last year, and, in addition to selling my creations, I've bought the creations of some other wonderful sellers. This week I've been looking for a piggy bank, and here are some of my favorite finds.

DO YOU FEEL LUCKY NINJA PIG by moopigs - I don't know which I like better, the idea of a ninja pig or the Dirty Harry quote.

Bank/Safe Made From Antique Post Office Box Door CIRCA 1896 by Boxnmor - This shop has several banks made using antique Post Office box doors; this is my favorite.

Penguinaut Brand Investment Portfolio (MSG-fired Blue) ed. of 5 by adamhollis - It would take all day to explain all the reasons I like this bank, not the least of which is it's a penguin, of course.

Itty Bitty Piggy Bank by Jillhoutz - This little piggy has the same pouty look my puppy gets when I won't let her chew the cable on the DSL modem.

beagle bank by Rith - How can you resist a bank shaped like an adorable beagle? Even better, the artist modeled the bank after her own puppy.
